Returns Policy

If something you’ve purchased is faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described, we’ll sort it—whether that’s a repair, replacement, or refund. Just get in touch with us and we’ll take care of it.


If you’ve changed your mind, that’s okay too. We’re happy to offer an exchange or store credit where we can. Items just need to be unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition.


Special order items can’t be returned unless they’re faulty.


Please keep your proof of purchase handy, as we’ll need it for all returns.

Bought online and need to send something back? No problem—just flick us an email at shop@thriftyautosupplies.co.nz with your order number and a quick note about what’s going on.


Once we’ve confirmed things with you, you’re welcome to send the item back to us. Return shipping is usually at your cost, unless the item is faulty or we’ve made a mistake.


As soon as your return arrives and we’ve checked it over, we’ll get your refund or exchange sorted as quickly as we can.
